This robotics event uses Root Robots for children ages 6 and up. Children will learn how to use block code to make the robot perform different tasks, such as light up, change colors, move and draw. Root robots magnetically cling to a whiteboard and can lift and lower a marker. Each child will have an opportunity to program the robot to draw a picture of their own creation on a white board. This is a public event.
